Hilton Head

Ahhh, Hilton Head once again...my favorite week of the entire year- the one week that I look forward to every year.

Everything seems so peaceful at the beach. No work, no school (well, except for my online summer class haha), no responsibility, just laying around the pool all day listening to music and reading.

Today it's raining, so we're all just chilling in the beach house having a lazy, relaxing kind of day. This place is literally my home away from home. My family and I have been coming to Hilton Head for like 24 years, and we have been staying in this same beach house since I was a baby, so 20 years. It's just my favorite place in the world to be. All my troubles go away, and everything just feels so peaceful and good.

I feel like it's not even really the fact that I absolutely love the beach so much (I do like it a lot though), but I think most of the reason why I love coming to Hilton Head is because its the one week of the year where everyone in my family comes together. It's not really the place that makes this vacation so special each year, it's the people I'm here with. Now, the only other thing that would make this vacation any better is if my bffs were here! Haha. It's okay though, we will take our own beach trip next year- it's in the works :)
