As most of you know, I absolutely love trying new "challenges" and making new goals for myself.
My friend Kayla and I came across a book before Christmas break called "Fit for my King", and it is all about giving up the "bad" foods that do nothing good for our bodies, so we decided we were up for the challenge to fast from these foods starting tomorrow for the next 30 days:
- White sugar
- Artificial Sweetners -yes, diet drinks :(
- "Fake" food, such as low fat, fat free, sugar free, etc.
- white flour
- white potatoes, white rice, and corn
Basically, the whole point of this is to fast from the foods that God didn't intend for us to eat, and to get rid of the things that we eat that actually harm our bodies. Anyways, I'm interested to see how it will turn out! I'll keep everyone updated weekly.
